- Allen Carman was born in New Jersey and transplanted to Florida in 1980. Mr. Carman traveled throughout the United States making a living as a musician. At age 28 he decided to get a "real job" and began attending college classes at St. Petersburg Junior College. He completed his Bachelor's degree at the University of South Florida and went to law school at Rutgers University in New Jersey.
